Contributor Guidelines

Transforming Research Experiences into Shared Knowledge.

Upholding Integrity in Scholarly Communication

At ExPros, our mission is to advance transparency, credibility, and ethical accountability in scholarly communication.

These Contributor Guidelines outline how we maintain the platform’s integrity, who can contribute, and the principles that guide all participation.

Who Can Contribute

To ensure credibility and maintain the scholarly value of all content, only verified contributors may share reviews or insights on ExPros.
Eligible contributors include:

- Researchers, scholars, or academicians affiliated with recognised institutions.
- Individuals verified through a valid university email address or ORCID ID.

Verification ensures that all reviews originate from authentic members of the research community.

What Can Be Reviewed

To establish a credible foundation, ExPros currently lists only journals indexed in Scopus, PubMed, or Web of Science (SCIE, SSCI, or ESCI).

Reviews can be written exclusively for these verified journals.

This selective inclusion ensures that discussions remain focused on journals with established standards of quality and academic integrity.

How Reviews Are Moderated

Every review undergoes an internal quality review before publication to ensure it meets ExPros’ community guidelines.

Our moderation process ensures that:

- Reviews remain respectful, factual, and evidence-based.
- Defamatory, threatening, or unsubstantiated statements are removed.
- Confidential or sensitive information (such as peer review content or author identities) is not disclosed.

Contributors may choose to post as verified anonymous authors, editors, reviewers, or readers, maintaining transparency without compromising privacy.

Our Ethical Principles

The ExPros community is built on shared values that define responsible participation:

- Respect: Maintain professionalism and fairness in tone and intent.
- Accuracy: Share only genuine, experience-based insights.
- Accountability: Take responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of your contributions.
- Confidentiality: Protect the integrity of manuscripts, peer reviews, and unpublished research.
- Integrity: Uphold honesty and respect in all forms of engagement on the platform.

By adhering to these principles, contributors help sustain a transparent, trustworthy, and constructive scholarly environment.

Our Commitment

ExPros is committed to preserving the highest ethical standards in academic communication.

All reviews, data, and activities on the platform are handled with respect, confidentiality, and integrity.

Together, we are shaping a more accountable and credible research ecosystem.
